Wednesday Evening Bible Study

7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The Belle-Terrace Presbyterian Church, USA’s Wednesday night’s Bible study ministry, grew out of a need to have a program of study that did not intimidate, threaten or belittle ones level of growth in studying God’s Word. We name this period of study, “Just Where You Are Bible Study” meaning it is perfectly all right to come, ask questions and request specific subject matter or topics to be discussed and to see what the Bible has to say about it. All subject matter discussed therefore comes from the participants.

Recently, we have been studying, The Acts of the Apostle. This topic has launched us into a course of study that required us to comb the pages of the entire Bible, seeking appropriate scriptures, arranging topics for class discussion, formulating teams and presenting research from groups, listening to personal experiences and testimonies has been nothing less than divine. We attempt to limit our study to one hour. Come and join us as we conclude this revealing period of study. We recognize and dignify each question and each request.

Youth

Wednesday Bible Study
7 p.m. – 8 p. m.

  • Junior I: Kindergarden - 3rd grade
  • Junior II: 4th - 6th grade
  • Senior: 7th - 12th grade ~ Teacher: Pastor Melvin Lowry

The mission of the Belle-Terrace Presbyterian Church (BTPC) Youth Group is to have each youth valued and each youth connected. Opportunities are available through Bible study, Children’s Church, Sunday School, Youth Choir and service as an acolyte or user.

The youth also learn the importance of mission and service to others through yearly mission activities. They participate in the Change 4 Children Mission program that teaches children to express love for Jesus by helping children in crisis.

They also connect to other Presbyterian Youth through the Presbyterian Youth retreats in the fall and spring at Rock Eagle.

The Belle-Terrace Presbyterian Church Youth Group’s Program year runs from September to June.

Children’s Church is available for Pre-K to 2nd Grade on the first three Sundays of the month. Children are a part of the service on the 4th Sunday of each month. The 5th Sunday Children’s Church is filled as needed.
